How It Works
What do the MedReady Dispensers do?
MedReady Pill Dispensers automatically dispenses medication to patients up to 4 times per day, sounding an alarm when it's time to take their medication. For those who require remote monitoring, our available monitored devices (ie. MR-357) transmit compliance data to MedReady’s data centre when a patient misses a dose, and subsequently alerts loved ones or carers via Email & SMS.
Alarms
The MR-1700 and the MR-357 comes standard with an easy to hear buzzer that alerts the patient that it is time to take the medication. For those who have difficulty hearing a buzzer or alarm, there is an optional Red Flashing Light available with the MedReady 1700FL and the MR-357FL’s that flashes in conjunction with the audible alarm which alerts the patient that it is time to take the medication.
Remote Monitoring
For caregivers who want a daily report on their patient’s compliance, we developed the MedReady MR-357.
The MedReady MR-357 series communicates via GSM Cellular to MedReady’s servers. When medication is ready the unit will sound a buzzer to notify the patient that the medication is ready. Opening the medication door disables the alarm. No land line or internet connection is necessary for the Medication dispenser. All medication compliance events and device settings are sent real time via cellular networks.
If the patient does not take their medication in a certain amount of time (set by caregiver), the device notifies MedReady’s data centre which then notifies caregivers via SMS & Email.
The caregiver then contacts the patient and insures the patient takes their medication.
Remotely change alarm times, trigger early doses, and set all device settings from the comfort of your home, or smart phone. In the case of a medication non-compliance event the dispenser signals MedReady’s servers which then send emails, text messages, and place automated phone calls to caregivers alerting them of the non-compliance event.
